Abstract
Ongoing research helps establish wind loads on low-rise buildings. The Univ of Western Ontario's Boundary Wind Tunnel Lab is testing an entire spectrum of surrounding construction situations, while Texas Tech Univ. is using a rotatable metal building to measure various gust effects. This article gives a brief overview of the research taking place.
