Abstract
This paper will review stabilization strategies and degradation mechanisms for MDI based polyurethanes. Accelerated weathering exposure data will be presented for various aromatic polyurethanes, to illustrate the effectiveness of stabilization systems. For MDI based polyurethanes, stabilization strategies based on recent, novel UV absorber technology will be presented.
