Eligibility Requirements
- A minimum of 24 months' experience installing various architectural metal flashings and accessories on low-slope roofs, including but not limited to coping systems, fascia systems, edge-metal profiles, counterflashing profiles, metal valley flashings, gutter profiles, and head-and-sidewall flashings, are required. Most recent experience must be within the past 12 months.
- Passing score on an online, multiple-choice exam
- Employer validation of work experience, skills and knowledge

Hands-on Skills Assessment
This assessment is conducted using a mockup. A Qualified Assessor guides the candidate through specific tasks. Qualified Assessors are roof system experts and independently contracted by installers and roofing contractors to administer hands-on skills assessments. Find an approved Qualified Assessor.
