Qualified Trainer Conference

Send one—or several—of your key employees with a passion for training the next generation to an upcoming NRCA Qualified Trainer Conference.

Completing the small-group presentation and coaching exercises during this two-day event under the watchful eye of NRCA instructors will earn your employee(s) the NRCA Qualified Trainer designation—a powerful recruiting tool for your company.

Beyond recruiting, your NRCA Qualified Trainer will help retain new workers for your company. Through realistic role play and presentation exercises, your employee will break bad training habits that may be hindering your company’s growth while creating new, effective training skills and processes.

What to expect at NRCA’s Qualified Trainer Conference:

  • Facilitated exercises allowing participants to grow confidence conducting small-group presentations
  • Role play coaching scenarios in a hands-on shop environment
  • Immediate NRCA instructor feedback during exercises and role play
  • Peer group discussions as they all learn from each other

Upon completing the Qualified Trainer Conference, your trainer will know how to:

  • Write training objectives and stick to them
  • Keep trainees engaged
  • Give interesting and engaging presentations
  • Ask the right type of questions to foster learning
  • Create a simple and effective hands-on training environment on jobsites
  • Conduct positive one-on-one training sessions
  • Implement NRCA’s Training for Roof Application Careers program for onboarding new hires
  • Conduct practical training exercises to get a new hire productive quickly
