Rich joined NRCA in 2015. Prior to joining NRCA, he was the national safety director for TECTA, and he started his career at FJA Christiansen Roofing Companies in Milwaukee in 1996. With a degree in occupational safety and health from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater and his numerous certificates and certifications within the safety field, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to NRCA.
Rich is an authorized trainer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA’s) 10- and 30-hour construction safety classes and an authorized Certified Roofing Torch Applicator (CERTA) trainer of torch-applied system classes. He also teaches NRCA’s fall-protection and CERTA train-the-trainer classes.
