Understanding reroofing options

To obtain a copy of a specific publication, users should contact the publication's publisher directly.

Abstract
Reroofing options have immensely varied from the good old days when the only available choices were BUR and the only options that were available were asphalt or coal tar pitch and three plies or four. Now the options extend not only to material choice - BUR, mod bit, single ply and specialty systems but also to the method of installation - fully adhered, mechanically fastened, loose laid and inverted membrane. In today's tight market, it is more important than ever for owners to make the right roofing choices.
