Abstract
This report describes extensions of previous wind tunnel tests to measure the wind speeds at which gravel is scoured and blown off the flat rooftops of buildings of rectangular planform. Low-rise and some high-rise configurations were tested at a model scal of 1:10. Parapet heights and stone size were varied and the effects of substituting solid paving blocks for loose gravel in the most sensitive aresa of the rooftops were studied.
