Abstract
A management approach to maintaining and replacing roof coverings to university buildings, the majority of which have flat roofs and were built between 1966 and 1972. The paper outlines the approach to maintenance and roof covering replacement taken by a building and estates office charged with maintaining and running a group of buildings providing the educational, social and residential needs of a university.
