Abstract
The roof and tile industry is very conscious of recommending all the right components of the system. In this article the author explains why he is endorsing the National Tile Roof Manufacturers Assn. (NTRMA) recommendation of ASTM A 641/ A 641M - 97, Table S1-1 as the minimum standard specification for non-corrosive nail coating, along with a minimum head diameter of not less than 3/16" as the minimum standard for nailing roof tile.
