OSHA issues ergonomics program standard 29 CFR 1910.900

Abstract
On Nov. 14, 2000, OSHA issued its much-anticipated ergonomics program standard. The standard does not currently apply to the construction industry; therefore, roofing work and related sheet-metal typ shp operations are not covered. However, companies that manufacture or distribute roofing products and equipment are covered by the standard.
