Evaporative roof cooling systems

Abstract
As building designers seek low cost ways to reduce interior temperatures, roof cooling systems are growing in popularity. Evaporative cooling systems are much more sophisticaterd and efficient than the "roof ponds" of the past. The basic principles of evaporative roof cooling systems, including energy savings and installed and operating costs are discussed in this article.
