Abstract
The energy document is the result of work by personnel of the National Bureau of Standards Center for Building Technology augmented by a group of advisers who met frequently over a period of three months. This document is a set of design and evaluation criteria for energy conservation in most types of new buildings. It was developed with the intent that it could serve as a basis for a national standard developed through the voluntary consensus program.
