Abstract
This third edition focuses on improvements in products, system design, and performance requirements and refinements in application technique in this slowly evolving, but nontheless increasingly science-based field. This book has attempted to assimilate the excellent work presented at roofing conferences and symposia since the last edition. These includt NIST/NRCA programs, ASTM publications on roofing research, and ORNL conferences on wind and reroofing. Quality publications from NIST and other research organizations have been included and referenced where appropriate.
