Abstract
Manufacturers of rigid foam insulation and the US DOE agree that foam sheathing can be installed on walls as a water-resistive barrier (WRB)instead of asphalt felt or housewrap. Builders considering using foam sheating as a WRB need to be assured that rigid foam products are dimensionally stable enough to shed water dependably.
