Abstract
In late May 1973, the Office of Building Standards and Codes Services of the Center for Building Technology, NBS was approached by the National Conference on States on Building Codes & Standards (NCSBCS) with a request that the bureau assist the states in preparing a workshop on energy conservation in buildings. Specifically, the bureau was asked to identify measures that state officials could responsibly recommend to their governors. The workshop was held on June 19, 1973.
