Abstract
Between 1990 and 1995 NRCA worked through litigation to obtain interpretations, clarifications and conforming amendments to the OSHA Asbestos Standard and teh EPA National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants. For the first time, these two federal regulations are compatible and have relatively straightforward compliance requirement in most roofing operations. Because of the regulation's complexity, this article cannot address all the requirements in detail.
