Abstract
The rooftop garden at ABC Suppliy Co. is a prototype for the GreenGrid System. This rooftop garden systems uses recycled pop bottles for the containers while the ground cover inside the bins is made of recycled shingles. Green roofs are popular in Europe but they are very heavy. GreenGrid uses a series of lightweight portable containers. From an environmental standpoint, a green roof will cut down on heat islands around cities and improve the quality of air.
