Abstract
This method provides impact resistance data for the evaluation of prepared roof covering materials. The performance of the prepared roof covering materials is predicated on the manner by which these products, as assembled to represent actual field installations, resist damage to to free falling steel balls dropped from heights generating kinetic energies consistent with like diamter hailstones falling at terminal velocities.
