Abstract
One vialbe design approach to consider for roofing cold storage facilities is an SBS modified bitumen membrane. The following article is one approach to roofing over a cooler or freezer. Not every specifier will agree with the use of modified bitumen membranes over a cooler or freezer, based on the underside of the deck acting as the roof for the cooler or freezer. But it is a specification that has worked well for the author.
