Abstract
NRCA's proposal for changes to BOCA were rejected as being too specification oriented. Also, according to comments made at the meeting, the building code officials would have been more receptive to NRCAs request if the proposed changes had been part of a nationally recognized standard that BOCA could have referred to int its code.
