Abstract
Built-up roofs are constructed of reinforcing plies and hot applied waterproofing bitumen. The built-up roof has become the most widely used and dependable system. The successful application of a built-up roof depends on several factors. It is the intent of this brochure to highlight these factors and to direct the readers to resource materials which can provide them with a better understanding of proper design, application and specification.
