Abstract
At is spring 2006 meeting, the MRCA Board of directors unanimously approved the recommendations it its members in particular, and the industry in general, the abandoment of FM Global Property Loss Prevention Data Sheet 1-29 as the universal standard in light of its unrealistic, unreasonable and unworkable conditions and recommends the use of ASCE Standard 7.05 as the roofing industry standard for wind uplift.
