Abstract
Insulation has long been looked to as a solid investment against rising energy costs. Its concept is simple and readily understood; the more a surface is insulated, the less heat will be lost from or gained by that surface. Insulation is an inexpensive way to trim costs. But there are myriad products - and the wrong choice can do more harm than good.
