Abstract
When buying a roof, many people put a lot of focus on roof design and material. Yet the manner in which the roof is installed is equally important. If application is performed carelessly, or not according to design, integrity of the roof may be compromised, resulting in roof leaks or worse, total failure. Selecting a qualified and professional roofing applicator is one way to avoid this situation. Since not all roofing applicators are equally qualified, it is important that the owner determine which contractor is best for his specific needs and job. One way to do that is by examining the following criteria: 1) Experience 2) Financial stability 3) Proper insurance 4) References 5) Commitment to education and training 6) Supervision and quality control 7) Maintenance program
