Abstract
The structures to be reroofed were several large buildings in teh General Electric Appliance Park in Louisville, KY. The task was to correct major roof leaks on extremely large low-sloped roofs; remove existing saturated built up roofing, insulation and rusted metal deck while plant is operating; and reduce energy expense. The paper focuses on how this was accomplished.
