Abstract
Metal roofs account for 33 percent of all new low-rise nonresidential roofs, and more than 180 mllion meter squared of standing seam metal roofing is installed every year. The author discusses considerations when specifying architectural standing seam metal roofing, including types of metal roofing panels and fnishes, selection criteria and documentation.
