Abstract
Glass fiber reinforced concrete is a portalnd cement-based composite with alkali-resistant glass fibers randomly dispersed throughout the product. The fibers function similarly to how steel bars function in reinforced concrete when place primarily in areas subject to tensile stress. Because the glass fibers add flexural, tensile, and impact strength, GFRC is perfect for lightweight architectural cladding panels.
