Abstract
The purpose of this standards is to provide performance - oriented design and evaluation criteria for energy - efficient buildings. The performance requirements and criteria are directed toward the design of building envelopes with high thermal resistance; low air leakage; and toward requiring practices in the design of improved mechanical and electrical systems which promote the efficient use of energy.
