Abstract
Phase II of the ERCR project is categorized into two phases, Phase 2A and Phase 2B, focusing on expanding the information and tools relating to thermal bridging. Phase 2A concentrated on developing a numerical model to simulate the impact of roofing fasteners on the effective thermal resistance of the roof assemblies, while Phase 2B conducted comprehensive experimental testing in small-scale and full-scale guarded hot boxes (GHBs), generating research data on thermal bridging.
