Abstract
The conversion from CCa to the alternative pressure treated woo dchemistires, CA and ACQ has caused much anxiety over hardware corrosion. The following paper was prepared by David Hendrix, a specialist in corrosion engineering and an independent third party observer, who reviewed testing done by various labs in accordance with AWPA E12-94 test standards. The conclusions point out testing deficiencies, deviations and non-real-life scenarios.
