Abstract
With the current administrations’ emphasis on solar and alternative energy sources, the design of wind roof top solar energy and wind turbine production systems will grow exponentially. This growth will have tremendous effects on the roofing industry. This paper will begin to address the roof system assembly components that a roof system designer will need to consider so that the energy systems can appropriately integrated into the roof system, and the roof system designed for this new use.
