Abstract
The roofing industry is recognizing the value of roof coatings for maintenance and surface protection of modified bitumen roofs. This article discusses the value of roof coatings and a review of asphalt cut backs, asphalt emulsions, solvent based coatings, water based emulsions, bituminous coatings and elastomeric coatings.
