Abstract
Do "cool" roofs cause condensation? .....it depends. For many, in most reroofs, installation of a cool roof brings the benefit of reduced summer cooling costs and a few drawbacks. For other reroofs, in most cases, the cool roof is more like the "straw that breaks the camel's back," it inadvertently disrupts a delicate balance.
