Abstract
Building codes throughout the United States and Canada have adopted, by reference, a large number of ASTM standards as authentic sources of test procedures and as a basis for acceptable quality for materials and constructions. This compilation includes, in three volumes, ASTM standards that are referenced in such nationally known codes as Basic Building Code, Building Officials and Code Administrators, International; Standard Building Code, Southern Building Code Congress International; Uniform Building Code, International Conference of Building Officials; One and Two Family Dwelling Code, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Council of American Building Officials; and National Building Code of Canada. The standards are arranged in alphanumeric sequence. Volume I includes building code standards A 6/A 6M through A 775/A 775M, Volume II includes building code standards B 6 through C 1063, and Volume III includes building code standards D 25 through G 57.
