Wind resistance of prepared roof covering materials standard for safety - 4th edition

Abstract
The test described in this standard is applicable to prepared roof coverings which comply with the requirements for construction, material specifictions, and performance, including fire resistance, as applicable to specific types, designs, sizes and arrangements of roof coverings, which are intended, when properly installed, to resist damage when subjected to winds in the Beaufort Scale No. 10 range (55-63 mph). All such additional requiremetns which apply are not considered to be within the scope of these requirements nor doe these requirements cover other possible risk aspects of such materials.
