Abstract
The National Roofing Foundation (NRF) planned a field study of SPF roofs in 1995. The project's goal was to independently assess field performance and work torward the development of performance criteria for SPF roof systems. This included design, installatin, and/or material specifications that contribute to performance. To accomplish this work, the NRF contracted with Structural Research Inc, (SRI) to conduct the filed and laboratory assessments. Both the National Roofing Contractors Assn and the Spray Polyurethan Foam Division of Society of Plastics Industry cooperated with this study. The field and laboratory studies show positive results.
