Polyiso foam insulation technical bulletin - US

To obtain a copy of a specific publication, users should contact the publication's publisher directly.

Abstract
One of the most controversial issues with polyiso and other plastic foam insulaton has been the accurate determination of the long-term thermal resistance (LTTR)value of these products. Because there is a reduction of thermal resistance over time, it is difficult to predict the LTTR over a 15 or 20 year time. There now exists a new scientific method to predict LTTR, which then can be used for energy calculations and design purposes.
