Abstract
The NRCA conducted explarotary testing to determine the transmission of heat through specific roofing systems during their standard installation. The objective of these tests was to monitor temperature at various depths and locations within a roofing system during the application of torch-applied modified bitumen sheet base flashings. The mock-up testing was conducted at the Siplast plant located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. A total of eight roofing systems were evaluated and temperatures were measured at each material interface within the roofing systems.
