Covering on waterproof layers of roof

Abstract
Covering the waterproof layer on roofs improves the appearance and heat insulating properties of the roofs. It also reduces the day-night temperature difference and protects the waterproofer. These functions are discussed, and the main forms and components of the coverings used in China are described.
