Abstract
When management installs, repairs or replaces a buiding's roof, that roof is expected to withstand constant attack by sun, wind and water. To withstand this triple-edged sword, managment needs to consider several key elements of roofing design before making the final decision to repair or replace a roof. Crucial items to evaluate with the roofing sepcialist include insulation, vapor barriers, solar resistance, wind and snow load specifications and maintenance procedures.
