Abstract
This data sheet describes basic principles of the fully adhered, partially attached and mechanically fastened single-ply membrane roof systems and outlines recommendations for methods of installation and fire safety precautions. Attention is focused on windstorm considerations, combustibility and leakage. For ballasted membranes, see Technical Advisory Bulletin 1-29; for liquid-applied membranes see Data Sheet 1-47.
