Communicating the roofing materials science and technology

Abstract
The development of new roofing materials during the past three decades and interaction of various professionals in the roofing industry have created a need to communicate our collective experience more effectively. The targets are not only the academic media but also various professions that directly are involved in the implementation of roofing materials science and technology. The justification for such continuing education is described, and the lists of important sources of information on roofing are appended.
