Abstract
The standardization that CEN in the waterproofing field performs is in line with the Community policy, which in the standardization matter stems from the implementation of the new approach resolution. For its materialization, all the new tools that CEN has put into operation during recent years are used. Finally, the role that the members of CEN are playing in its development, as well as the present situation, are pointed out.
