Abstract
An interlaboratory "round robin" was conducted for the calibration method developed by ASTM Task Group E 37.01.12,which is described in this paper. The interlaboratory test protocol was consistent with the requirements outlines in ASTM Standard Test Practice for Conducting an Interlaboratory Study to Determine the Precision of a Test Method (E691). The results obtained by ten participating laboratories are reported. A precision and bias statement for the ASTM Test Method for Temperature Calibration of Thermomechanical Analyzers (E 1363) was developed from the statistical treatment of the data.
