Abstract
Research conducted over the last three years at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) on alternative blowing agents for CFC-blown polyisocyanurate insulation, has led to the development of a new methodology for the assessment of in-service r-values. This new methodology considers several factors that influence long-term thermal performance.
