Mechanical behavior of modified bitumen roofing materials

Abstract
Tensile properties of bituminous materials change with temperature and rate of loading. These changes dramatically effect the performance of roof sytems. Testing and analysis methods developed to characterize these changes in mechanical properties increase our understanding of the proper use of these materials.
