Abstract
To look good for years to come, metal roofs need a finish that can withstand attack from acid rain, ultraviolet radiation and other environmental agents. More and more manufacturers are using finishes formulated with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride). PVDFs are the only type of polymer that do not abosrb UV rays, the primary cause of cracking and color fading of exterior finishes.
