Foreman Leadership Training, Level 1

Foreman Leadership Training, Level 1 focuses on leadership and management skills for field managers.

After completing Foreman Leadership Training, Level 1, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize and improve leadership and crew communication styles
  • Enhance team productivity
  • Implement conflict resolution tools to manage and prevent workplace conflicts

Foreman Leadership Training, Level 2

Foreman Leadership Training, Level 2 reviews discussions about communication and management techniques learned in Level 1 with increased attention to disciplinary conversations and intervention. Previous participation in Foreman Leadership Training, Level 1 is required.

After completing Foreman Leadership Training, Level 2, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and explain characteristics of positive and negative communication styles
  • Use communication techniques developed during this course to implement effective conflict-resolution tactics for employees, supervisors and customers
  • Gain a richer understanding of employee, foreman, worker, supervisor and customer needs by using practical yet refined communication skills
