Abstract
Under-slab dewatering is a drainage method to relieve hydrostatic or seepage pressures from the slab underside. This approach allows the waterproofing membrane to be a secondary waterproofing measure to reduce the risk of water intrusion into the structure and is one of the accepted methods of providing redundancy in a waterproofing design.
