Abstract
Designers, contractors, and owners desire watertight roofing and waterproofing systems. Typically, after installation, there are two methods for testing the watertightness of these systems: flood testing (1) and Electronic Leak Detection (ELD). Flood testing locates leaks, whereas ELD locates breaches in the membrane.
